EcoFest 2010 on April 17 at Chico State
Chico State’s 13th Annual Eco-fest, hosted by E-ARC (Environmental Action Resource Center), will be held this year on Saturday, April 17th on the Kendall Lawn at CSU Chico from 11am to 6pm.
This year, the students open Eco-Fest wide and large to all GREEN BUSINESSES and ORGANIZATIONS in and around Chico. Seize this opportunity to increase your local visibility; meet a larger audience and network with friends and potential partners in the field of sustainability.
There will be speakers, vendors, exhibitors and bands playing all day long. Local groups and businesses will all be there highlighting their sustainable practices. This is a FREE community event with activities for all ages. There will be food vendors and information booths covering everything from water conservation to farm animal protection.
A large, indoors back-up facility has been reserved in case of rain.
EcoFest will be broadly advertized outside campus in the local media. So it really is a unique opportunity to promote sustainable products and practices, reach out to new clients and supporters and participate to a collective efforts towards increasing the momentum of the sustainability movement in our city.
