COMMUNITY GARDENS Volunteer Opportunity – May 29, 2010

GRUB has two volunteer opportunities on Sat. May 29th, 9am-12 pm

CHICO:
1190 East 1st Avenue
Community garden workday at the Congregational Church Of Chico.

CORNING:
If you are in Corning and you can help establish a community garden on Saturday, please email Bill at billbergman@msn.com for details.

We now have regular hours at some of our community gardens.

Flo will be at the following locations:
- Walnut Grove, 1118 Nord Avenue, Mondays 8:30am – 12pm
- Bidwell Avenue, 1700 Bidwell, Tuesdays 8:30am – 12pm
- Jesus Center Garden, 14th & Mulberry, Wednesdays 8:30am-12pm
- W Lindo, 305 W Lindo Street, on Thursdays 8:30am – 12pm

There are a lot of things to plant and with that comes maintaining and then harvesting. So if you have some time and want to come out and join us, wear a hat, bring a water bottle, and come play outside.
