In Brief: At Butte College, we are committed to maintaining our national leadership in sustainability. As part of this effort we've made "Modeling Sustainability" one of the five initiatives in our Strategic Plan, signed the Talloires Declaration and the President's Climate Commitment, established a Board Policy on sustainability, and become active members in a variety of sustainability-oriented organizations to include the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE) and the American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE).
