In Brief: For many years, Chico Velo was a group of loose knit riders until we officially formed in 1980. Our first ride was in 1981 and about 100 riders showed up. Today our Wildflower Century alone attracts over 3,800 riders and is still growing. The club boasts a full time club coordinator and events planner to oversee the many century rides we offer and to watch out for cycling interests in our urban area.
