In Brief: Our goal at Lotus Guide is to be the premier alternative source of information about holistic health practitioners, meditation training and workshops and about a wide variety of needs for those seeking mental and physical health and fitness. Circulation is 17,000 (every 3 months) with a reader-to-magazine ratio of 2.5. Lotus Guide is distributed to hundreds of locations from Mount Shasta to Grass Valley and Nevada City, including Chico and surrounding areas. Distribution locations are (but not limited to) bookstores, medical offices, health food stores, coffee shops and cafes, health clubs, sporting goods stores, Chico State University, art galleries, art centers, and many more. Each issue will have a Health and Nutrition column that is locally oriented toward the needs of those in the community, with a question and answer section from our readers. Each issue also includes an editorial by known writers, lecturers, and speakers in the areas of science, meditation, spirituality, and more.
