A regional unit of the Sierra Club, in 5 Northern California counties; most meetings take place in the city of Chico, located about 100 miles north of Sacramento. The 1500 members have interests in both the conservation and enjoyment of wilderness and the natural world. Please join us in honoring the achievements of outstanding environmental activists at this gala event. Always a lot of fun, this is an opportunity to see old friends, meet new ones and spend time with folks who are helping protect the earth. And it’s also an opportunity to take home wonderful items from our now famous silent auction and raffle. Proceeds from this event help us keep our office open in Sacramento, so that we can provide optimal support for our local Sierra Club groups!

Phil Isenberg, current Chair of the Delta Stewardship Council, will be our keynote speaker. Previously Chair of the Delta Vision Blue Ribbon Task Force, Mr. Isenberg is not known for avoiding difficult issues or shying away from controversy. He’ll be sharing with us his ideas on how we can meet California’s water supply challenges.
