FOURTH ANNUAL EARTH DAY EVENT - CSUC Associated Students and “Computers-for-Classrooms”

Computers for classrooms will be teaming up with CSUC Associated Students Recycling to collect electronic donations in honor of Earth Day.

WHEN:  Saturday April 21 9:00am – 2:00pm

WHERE:  Associated Students lot (4th and Cherry Streets in Chico)

Items accepted:  computers, laptops, monitors, keyboards, printers, televisions, radios, cell phones, DVD players, camcorders, stereos and other electronic parts and accessories.
We will accept all electronics working or not.

Any item not suitable for re-use will be recycled by Computers for Classrooms, and R-2 Certified Recycler.  All hard drives are wiped and NOTHING goes to the landfill.  Your donations help others.

Re-using is 25 times better for the environment than just recycling!

CANINE CARNIVAL – Sept. 19, 2010

The Chico Canine Carnival is a family and pet-friendly community event, which is quickly becoming a much loved annual event- and YOU’RE INVITED to come join in the fun!

Enjoy a full day of fun with pets, food, and kids’ activities, with cool canine contests and demonstrations that celebration the love between humans and their best friends! Well-behaved dogs on leash are welcome.
